Bank of India (BOI) is looking to recruit Officers for filling up 696 vacancies for the post of Economist, Statistician, Risk Manager, Credit Analyst, Credit Officers, Tech Appraisal, IT Officer – Data Centre, Manager, and Senior Manager. Out of a total of 696 posts, 594 candidates will be hired on a regular basis, and the remaining 102 on a contractual basis.

  • Candidates ready to work anywhere in India should apply.

Selection Process:

Selection will be through Online Test and/or GD and/or Personal Interview, depending on the number of applicants/eligible candidates. 

Online Exam -

  • All the tests except the Test of English Language will be available bilingually, i.e. English and Hindi. 
  • The test English Language will be of qualifying nature i.e. Marks obtained in the English Language will not be added while preparing the Merit List.
  • There will be a penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer, one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted ed as a penalty.

Interview -

  • Merit list of the candidates based on the marks obtained by them in online examination (marks obtained in General Awareness with special reference to Banking Industry and Professional Knowledge paper) will be prepared in descending order for the respective categories i.e. SC/ST/OBC/EWS/GEN. 
  • Candidates securing the minimum qualifying marks stipulated for Online Tests and ranking sufficiently high in the order of merit shall be called for a Personal interview and/or GD. 
  • The total marks allotted for an interview are 100. The minimum qualifying marks for General / EWS category candidates will be 40% and for SC / ST / OBC / PWD will be 35%.
  • The number of candidates called interviews will be in the ratio of 3: 1. However, the bank may increase the said ratio at its discretion.
