The Central Selection Board of Constable (CSBC) has published an official notification for the Bihar Police Constable Recruitment 2023 for filling out the 21391 vacancies for Inspector, Sub-Inspector, Assistant Sub-Inspector, etc. 

Basically, The Bihar Police Department is the law enforcement agency for Bihar, India, with its headquarters in Patna. Under the Bihar Police Recruitment 2023, online application forms will be started on 20th June 2023 and the last date for online submission is 20th July 2023.

Bihar Police Recruitment 2023 | Overview

• It is mandatory for the application to be a citizen of India.
• According to the notification, the selection process will be in two phases. First, the written test will be conducted.
• The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the Physical Efficiency Test.

Bihar Police Eligibility Criteria

It is mandatory for every candidate to adhere to the following eligibility conditions-

Educational Qualification -

Those candidates are eligible to apply for the posts of constable in Bihar Police-

• Those who have passed 12th examination from a recognized board.
• Maulvi certificate issued by Madrasa Board of Bihar State Government or Shastri (including English) or Acharya (without English) certificate issued by Sanskrit Board of Bihar State.

Age Limit -

• Minimum Age Limit: 18 Years
• Maximum Age Limit for General/EWS: 25 Years
• Maximum Age Limit for OBC/EBC (Male): 27 Years
• Maximum Age Limit for OBC/EBC (Female): 28 Years
• Maximum Age Limit for SC/ST: 30 Years

Selection Process

The candidates eligible for various posts through Bihar Police Recruitment 2023 will be selected through the following stages. The candidates have to qualify in each stage for their final selection.

• Online Written Exam (CBT)
• Physical Standards Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
• Document Verification
• Medical Examination.

Bihar Police Exam Pattern 2023

• Level of the Exam – The level of the question paper will be of 10th Class
• Number of Questions – There will be 100 MCQs.
• Total Marks – The total marks for the exam are 100
• Duration of Exam – 2 Hours
• The minimum passing mark to pass appear for the Physical Eligibility Test are 30%.
