The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is promoting financial literacy among the youth through its annual Financial Literacy Week (FLW) campaign held from February 26 to March 1, 2024. This year's theme is "Make a Right Start – Become Financially Smart". Presently the Governor of RBI is Shaktikanta Das.

The National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur under the Ministry of AYUSH and the Department of Thai Traditional and Alternative Medicine of Thailand have signed an MoU for cooperation in Ayurveda and Thai traditional medicine. Recently, state-run SJVN achieved commercial power supply from its 50 MW Gujrai Solar Power Station in Kanpur Dehat, Uttar Pradesh. The project, executed by SJVN through its renewables arm SGEL at a cost of Rs 281 crore, is now operational. SJVN has a total installed power capacity of 2,277 MW across 10 power stations. The Gujrai station is expected to generate 107 million units of power in the first year, with a cumulative energy generation of 2,477 million units over 25 years, generating annual revenue of approximately Rs 32 crore.

Dozens of exotic birds and animals recently shifted to Gujarat's Sardar Patel Zoo near the Statue of Unity have died in the last two years. The 182 meter high statue, dedicated to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, is located on Sadhu Bet Island on the banks of the Narmada Dam in Gujarat. Built by Larsen & Toubro and designed by Ram V Sutar, the statue honors the 'Iron Man' of India. The Gujarat government funded the Rs 3,050 crore project, which covers an area of 20,000 square meters and a surrounding 12 square kilometer artificial lake.

Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Singh Thakur announced that a regional office of the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) will be opened in Chandigarh.
