The ESIC has come out with the Social Security Officer Recruitment notification 2018 for the recruitment of Social Security Officer / Manager Grade II / Superintendent in the Corporation. 

How many posts are there in ESIC SSO?

The number of posts to be filled up through this advertisement is 539 among which 294 posts are reserved for the General Category candidates whereas the rest are for reserved categories. 

What is the Pay Scale of ESIC SSO?

The selected candidates will be placed in Pay Matrix Level 7 for the central government civilian employees in which the basic salary will be Rs 44900/-. Along with that, various allowances such as DA, HRA etc. will be payable to the candidates. The in-hand salary in X-class city will be around Rs 52k. 

What is the Eligibility to apply for ESIC SSO Post?

• A degree of any recognized university is necessary in order to apply for this post whereas the knowledge of computer database will be an added qualification. 
• Desirable: Three years’ continuous service in any government department / public sector organizations / government undertaking. 
• The age should be within 21-27 years as on 05.10.2018.

What is the Exam Pattern for ESIC SSO?

The examination will be conducted in three phases – Phase I, Phase II and Phase III. The marks obtained in Phase II will only be considered for final selection. There will be negative marking of one-fourth marks allotted to a question. The Phase III will be Computer Skills Test and Descriptive Test the marks of which will not be reckoned for final marking.
