After successfully passing both the Prelims and Mains stages, candidates are required to pass a Language Proficiency Test (LPT) for the state from which they have applied. If you are applying from a different state, then the regional language of that state you should know to read and write well because after SBI Clerk Mains Exam, will be followed by Language Proficiency Test.
