ITBP Driver Recruitment 2023 | Important Details

The vacancies are tentative and may increase or decrease without any notice any change in the number of vacancies will be intimated through the ITBPF Requirement website i.e. https://recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in/.

Applications from candidates will be accepted online mode only. No other mode for submission of application is allowed.

ITBP Driver Vacancy & Eligibility

Here you can find all the details related to important dates related to recruitment, age limit, educational qualification, fees, selection process, etc. -

Education Qualification -

• To be eligible for the ITBP Recruitment 2023, candidates must have passed Matriculation or 10th grade from a recognized Board or Institution, or an equivalent qualification. Additionally, candidates must possess a valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License.

Age Limit -

• To apply for the posts mentioned above, a candidate must be between 21 years to 27 years.

Pay Scale -

• Pay Scale: Level 3 in the Pay Matrix Rs 21700-69100 (as per the 7th CPC).

Selection Process

The selection for the ITBP Driver under ITBP Driver Recruitment 2023 consists of the following stages:

• Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
• Physical Standards Test (PST)
• Written Exam
• Document Verification
• Driving Test
• Detailed Medical Examination/ Review Medical Examination

Written Exam Pattern -

The written exam consists of OMR-based objective-type multiple-choice questions.

The examination contains 100 questions for 100 marks.

The duration of the exam is 2 Hours/ 120 Minutes.

The exam will only be conducted in English and Hindi.

The level of the exam is 10th Level.

Application Fee

• Male candidates belonging to UR, OBC, and EWS categories applying for this recruitment will have to pay Rs 100 as an application fee. 
• Candidates belonging to the Schedule Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Females, and Ex-Servicemen are exempted from paying the fees.
