JKSSB Account Assistant Recruitment 2020 - Important Details

Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board (JKSSB) has issued the latest notification for recruitment to the Account Assistant (Panchayat) posts of District Cadre in the Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj. This notification has been issued for the recruitment of candidates on 1889 vacant posts.

• Applications will be invited only through online mode.
• Interested and eligible candidates can apply for these posts online by visiting the official website www.jkssb.nic.in.

Essential Eligibility Criteria:

The requirement of age limit and minimum qualification for various reserved categories candidates is as follows: 

Required Qualification -

• Graduation in any stream from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks and 45% marks for reserved category.
• However, candidates having Post Graduation Degree with 50% marks or holding a Ph.D. degree or equivalent shall also be eligible for selection.

Age Limit -

• Age limit for OM Category: 40 years
• Age limit for PWD: 42 years
• Age limit for SC, ST, RBA, ALC/IB, EWS, PSP, OSC: 43 years

Selection Process – Exam Pattern

• The candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Examination. 
• The overall merit of the candidate shall be determined on the basis of marks obtained in the written test.

• The written test will consist only of objective type multiple-choice questions.
• The questions will be set in English language only.
• Negative marking of 0.25 marks will be applicable for each wrong answer.
• The exam time period will be of 2 hours.

Application Fee:

• The prescribed application fee for all applicants is Rs. 350 /-
• Payment has to be made through online medium (net banking, visa, master card, credit or debit card).
