JKSSB Recruitment 2020-21 | Notification for Various 1997 Vacancies!!

Recently, Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board (JKSSB) released a notification for the recruitment of eligible candidates on 1997 vacancies of Sub Inspector, Assistant Compiler, Depot Assistant, and Divisional/District Cadre posts under the PM package for Kashmiri migrants and non-migrant Kashmiri Pandits.

Age Limit -

• For OM: 40 Years
• For SC/ ST/ RBA/ ALC/ IB/ EWS/ PSP/ OSC: 43 Years
• For Physically Challenged Person: 42 Years
• For Ex-Servicemen: 48 Years
• For Government Service/Contractual Employment: 40 Years as calculated on 01-01-2020.

Application Fee:

• Payment Fee: Rs. 350/-
• Fees can be paid online only through Net Banking using Visa, Master Card, Maestro, Credit or Debit Card.

Selection Process:

The selection list for the above posts will be prepared purely on the basis of merit obtained in the Written Test/Skill Test. There will be no interviews for these posts.

Exam Pattern:

• The exam will consist of objective type, multiple-choice questions. Questions will be set in English language only.
• There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
• Tentative answer-key will be available on the board's website (www.jkssb.nic.in) at the appointed time after the examination.
• The marks obtained by the candidates in the Written Examination will be normalized, if necessary, to determine the Final Merit List and Cut-Off Marks.
