The appointment of the candidates will be purely on a contractual basis for the period up to the end of the financial year as per the regulation set by the government.

• The mode of selection as a graduate teacher will be based on the written examination.
• The appointment is district-specific and not-transferable.

Vacancy Details and Eligibility Criteria

The number of graduate teacher vacancies can be reduced and increased. Qualification -

Candidates are required to have a Graduate Degree and B.Ed from a recognized University.

Age limit (as on 11-12-2020) -

• Minimum - 18 years
• Maximum - 38 years

Upper age relaxation -

• For OBC candidates - 3 years
• For ST / SC candidates - 5 years
• Additional exemption will also apply for PWD candidates under the rules.

Written Exam Pattern:

• The examination question paper will consist of 100 Objective Type Questions (MCQ) which will be of equal marks and will consist of two parts I and II where Part I is compulsory for each candidate.
• Optional Subjects 1 and 2 of Part II will be for Arts Graduate Teacher and Science Graduate Teacher respectively.
