MP Jail Guard Recruitment Examination 2020

The Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB), Bhopal (MP Vyapam) has issued a notification for the direct recruitment to 282 posts of Prison Guard for the security of the Prison Department under Jail Headquarters, Madhya Pradesh.

• Interested 12th pass (Male and Female) candidates can submit their online application forms on the official website of MPPEB.
• The online application process has started on 27th July 2020. You need to follow the guidelines given by the department before submitting the application.

Vacancy Details:

The selection in MP Jail Department will be based on the Written Test/ Physical Test. The number of posts can be decreased or increased, as required, by the board -

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates who want to join this recruitment need to make sure that they adhere to all the eligibility conditions, as given under-

Educational Qualification -

Applicants must have passed 12^th Standard under the old 10 + 2 system.

Maximum Age Limit -

• Male Candidates: 33 Years
• Female Candidates: 38 Years

Note: SC and ST have been given a relaxation of 05 years in the maximum age limit. Find more information in the age limit section of the official notification for age relaxation.

Selection Process:

The selection of candidates for the post of jail guard will be done on the following basis -

• Written Exam
• Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

(1) Written Examination -

• Candidates whose online application is found correct must first pass the written examination, which will be of 100 marks (01 mark each question).
• All the 100 questions in the written examination will be objective type.
• There will be only 01 question paper of 2 hours duration, which will include high school level questions of General Knowledge, General Hindi, General English, General Mathematics, and General Science.

(2) Physical Measurement Test and Physical Proficiency Test -

• Candidates who succeed in the written examination will be given a fixed place, date, and time by post or other means by the jail department to join the PET.
• Under the second stage, biometric verification physical measurement test and physical proficiency test will be carried out by a committee constituted by the Director-General Jail and Facilitative Services at the jail headquarters level.
