RBI Grade B Notification 2019 - Vacancy Details

Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released 199 Vacancies for the posts of Officers Grade ‘B’. Online applications are available on the bank’s website and will be closed after 11^th October. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must ensure their eligibility before applying for the advertised posts. If any candidate found ineligible by the authorities after submitting the form, his/her candidature will get canceled.

Age Limit -

• Minimum Age: 21 Years
• Maximum Age: 30 Years

Age relaxation is applicable for the reserved categories as per the government norms.

Educational Qualification -

• Officers in Grade ‘B’(DR)- General – Bachelor’s Degree with 60% aggregate marks, 50% for ST/SC/PWD 
• Officers in Grade ‘B’(DR)- DEPR - Master's Degree in Economics/ PGDM/ MBA Finance or equivalent
• Officers in Grade ‘B’(DR)- DSIM - Master's Degree in Statistics/ Mathematics/ M. Stat. Degree of Indian Statistical Institute/ PGDBA by ISI Kolkata, IIT Kharagpur and IIM Calcutta with a minimum of 55% marks.

Selection Process:

Selection for the aforementioned posts will be done through ONLINE examinations-

• Phase- I (Paper-1)
• Phase- II (Paper 2 & 3)
• Interview

Application Fee:

Candidates will have to pay the below-mentioned amount of application fee for the successful submission of RBI Grade B application form.

• Applications without the prescribed fee will be rejected.
• Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.

How to Apply??

Candidates satisfying the conditions of eligibility are required to visit the official website of RBI as the applications will be submitted only in online mode.

• Visit the Bank's website i.e. www.rbi.org.in.
• Now, follow the path >Opportunities@RBI >Current Vacancies > Vacancies and click on the appropriate link given there for the relevant recruitment.
• Click on the hyperlink “Online Application Form” available in the notification page that redirects to the online registration page. 
• For a new registration, choose the tab "Click here for New Registration" and enter Name, Contact details and Email-id.
• Your provisional registration number and password will be displayed on the screen.
• Now, login with the provided credentials to the website.
• Enter the required details in the application form.
• Upload the photograph, signature, left thumb impression and a hand-written declaration in the online application form as per the specifications.
• Proceed to the ‘Application Fee Payment’ step and deposit the fee amount via any of the online payment modes.
• Check the filled application and make amendments for any mistake and submit the form.

Salary/ Pay Scale -

• Basic Pay: Rs. 35150/-
• Pay Scale: Rs. 35150/- to Rs. 62400/-
• Initial Monthly Gross Emoluments: Rs. 77200/- (Approx.)
• Various kinds of perks and allowances will also be there.
