RBI Recruitment 2022 – Apply Online for 950 Assistant Posts!

Golden opportunity for Graduate pass candidates: As we know that the RBI Assistant Recruitment is conducted for the Assistant in various branches by the Reserve Bank of India every year. However, this year also, RBI has invited online applications to 950 posts of Assistant by issuing short notice on February 14.

Online applications for recruitment are starting from 17th February. Interested and eligible candidates can apply by visiting the official website of RBI.

Selection for RBI Assistant will be through two stages of country-wide competitive examination, i.e., prelims and main exam and after language proficiency test. RBI Assistant Prelims is expected on 26 and 27 March 2022. Those who qualify in the prelims will be called the mains exam.

Required Details for RBI Assistant Recruitment 2022

Eligible candidates can get all the important information like total vacancies, eligibility criteria, pay scale, selection process, etc.

Minimum Qualification -

• Graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PWD candidates) in the aggregate and the knowledge of word processing on PC.

Age Limit -

• Minimum Age: 20 Year
• Maximum Age: 28 Years

Age relaxation criteria will be applicable to the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD or Ex-Serviceman categories.

Selection Process for RBI Assistant 2022

RBI Assistant Exam 2022 will be conducted in three phases -

• Prelims Exam
• Mains Exam
• Language Proficiency Test (LPT)

Prelims Exam Pattern -

• First, candidates have to appear in the prelims exam for RBI Assistant recruitment, which will be the screening stage to shortlist candidates for Mains Exam.
• There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for the wrong answers attempted by the candidate.

Mains Exam Pattern -

The candidates who qualify in the Prelims Exam will be invited for RBI Assistant Mains Exam for which the exam pattern has been mentioned below -

Language Proficiency Test (LPT) -

• The candidates provisionally shortlisted from the main online examination will have to undergo a language proficiency test (LPT).
• It is mandatory for all the candidates to qualify these three rounds to ensure final selection to the post of Assistant in Reserve Bank of India.

How to Apply for RBI Assistant Recruitment 2022?

1. Go to the official website of RBI - opportunities.rbi.org.in and visit 'Current Vacancies' then 'Vacancies'
2. Now, click on and click on the option "Recruitment for the post of Assistant" which will open a new screen.
3. To register application, choose the tab "Click here for New Registration" and enter Name, Contact details
   and Email-id.
4. Validate your details and Save your application by clicking the 'Validate your details and 'Save & Next' button
5. Upload Photo & Signature as per the specifications given in the Guidelines for Scanning and Upload of Photograph and Signature.
6. Now, fill in other details of the Application Form.
7. Click on the Preview Tab to preview and verify the entire application form before FINAL SUBMIT.
8. Modify details, if required, and click on 'FINAL SUBMIT' ONLY after verifying and ensuring that the photograph, signature uploaded and other details filled by you are correct.
9. Click on the 'Payment' Tab and proceed with payment.
