RPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment 2023: 1913 Vacancies

Hello candidates. 

Rajasthan Public Service Commission has released the latest RPSC Notification 2023 for Assistant Professor posts on its official website. The RPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment drive aims to fill up a total of 1913 vacancies in the College Education Department of the Government of Rajasthan for various streams including Botany, Chemistry, Maths, Physics, English, Hindi, History, Music, Sanskrit, Geography, Home Science, Urdu, Law, Punjabi etc.

Applicants will be able to apply for the posts on the official website rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in from June 26 onwards. The last date to apply for the posts is July 25, 2023.

• The post for Assistant Professor is permanent and the number of posts can be decreased / increased by the department.

RPSC Assistant Professor Vacancy Details

Candidates can check the vacancy details, educational qualification, age limit, pay scale and other details available in the RPSC Assistant Professor Notification below:

Age limit (as on 01 July 2023) -

• Minimum Age - 21 years
• Maximum Age - 40 years

Age Relaxation -

• Male Candidates belonging to the SC, ST, OBC and More Backward Classes of Rajasthan State: 5 Years
• Women Candidates belonging to General Category and Rajasthan State’s Economically Weaker Sections (E.W.S.): 5 Years
• Women Candidates belonging to the SC, ST, OBC and More Backward Classes of Rajasthan State: 5 Years
• There is no upper age limit for widowed and divorced women.

Selection Process:

The selection process of the candidates will be as follows -

• Written exam
• Interview

A. Written exam -

The written examination shall consist of the following papers carrying the marks and time allowed, as shown against them: -

B. Interview –

• The interview shall carry 24 marks. 
• To the extent of three times of total number of vacancies (category wise), the candidates who obtain such minimum qualifying marks in written examination as may be fixed by the Commission, shall be summoned for interview. 

Note: - The Commission shall not recommend a candidate who has failed to appear in any of the written paper and interview.
