RPSC Recruitment 2022 – Apply for Assistant Town Planner Posts

RPSC Assistant Town Planner Exam Date Out: Rajasthan Assistant Town Planner Admit Card has been released on 13th June 2023. On June 16, 2023, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, the Rajasthan Public Service Commission will hold an offline written examination for the position of Assistant Town Planner. 

Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) invited online applications for the post of Assistant Town Planner.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply online at RPSC Official Website from 10 October 2022 onward. The application should be submitted on or before 09 November 2022.

Around 43 category-wise vacancies shall be filled under the Town Planning Department, Rajasthan.

RPSC Exam Eligibility

The post for Assistant Town Planner is temporary and the category wise classification of total vacancies received from the department (posts can be decreased/increased) is as follows -

Educational Qualification -

• Candidates Should Possess Degree/ BE/ B.Tech (Civil Engineering).
• Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagari Script and knowledge of Rajasthan Culture.

Age Limit (as of 01 Jan 2023) -

• Minimum Age – 18 Years
• Maximum Age – 40 Years
• Age relaxation is Applicable as per rules.

Selection Process

Selection will be done on the basis of competitive examination:

1. The competitive examination shall carry 150 marks and 150 questions of Multiple Choice Type questions.

 2. There shall be one paper. Duration of Paper will be Two hours and Thirty Minutes.

3. Negative marking shall be applicable in the evaluation of answers. For every wrong answer one-third of the marks prescribed for that particular question shall be deducted. Explanation :- Wrong answer shall mean an incorrect answer or multiple answers

• For General Candidates: Rs 350/-
• For BC/  EWS Candiates: Rs 250/-
• For SC/ST/PWD candidates: Rs 150/-
