RSMSSB Recruitment 2021 – Check Notification on Fireman & Assistant Fire Officer Posts!!

Dear Candidates,

Rajasthan Subordinate and Ministerial Services Selection Board (RSMSSB) has released the recruitment notification for the posts of Fireman and Assistant Fire Officer (AFO). A total of 629 vacancies are available out of which 600 posts are for Fireman and 29 posts for Assistant Fire Officer. 

Fireman & Assistant Fire Officer Direct Recruitment Exam-2021

For Autonomous Government Department Rajasthan, Rajasthan Municipal (Subordinate and Ministerial) Service Corporation-1963 and Rajasthan Scheduled Area Subordinate, Ministerial and Class IV Service Rules, 2014 have invited online applications in the prescribed form for recruitment to the following posts.

Age Relaxation -

Due to non-conduct of Fireman and Assistant Fire Officer Recruitment Examination from the year 2015-16 onwards, all the applicants will be given further relaxation of 3 years in the upper age limit.

• Relaxation of 5 years for women from general category and economically weaker section.
• Relaxation of 5 years for male candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Most Backward Classes who are permanent residents of Rajasthan.
• Relaxation of 10 years for women candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Most Backward Classes who are permanent residents of Rajasthan.

Contributory Pension -

Contributory pension scheme will be applicable as per rules for the newly recruited/appointed employees.

Educational Qualification:

For Fireman -

• Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education Ajmer or Secondary or its equivalent qualification from Central Board of Secondary Education and with 6th month Fireman Training.
• Knowledge of working in Hindi written in Devanagari script and knowledge of Rajasthan's culture.

For Assistant Fire Officer -

• Graduate in any field from any recognized University and with Assistant Fire Officer Degree.
• Knowledge of working in Hindi written in Devanagari script and knowledge of Rajasthan's culture.

Selection Process:

The selection of the candidates will be as follows:-

• Written exam
• Interview

Physical Efficiency Test -

In case of direct recruitment to the posts of Fireman and Assistant Fire Officer, the following physical standards will be necessary for physical fitness -

Exam Fee:

• Candidates belonging to General and OBC (Creamy Layer) category will have to pay an application fee of Rs.450.
• For Rajasthan State BC/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) category, the registration fee is Rs.350.
• Whereas for the state of Rajasthan the application fee for SC/ST category is Rs.250.
