Southern Railway Recruitment 2020 – Selection through teleconference interview

Recently, Southern Railway has expressed an urgent need to fill the posts of paramedical staff in Chennai Division due to the COVID-19 epidemic.

Southern Railway has invited applications for the posts of Nursing Superintendent, Physiotherapist, Dietician, Hemodialysis Technician, Skills Electronic Technician, Lab Assistant Grade-II, Radiographer, Hospital Attendant / Housekeeping Assistant on contract basis in the medical field. Through this recruitment, 195 posts will be appointed by the Southern Railway.

Southern Railway - Recruitment Details Notification 2020

Interested youth can appear in the interview for the Southern Railway Recruitment 2020. Selected candidates will be given an opportunity to assist the government in fighting the epidemic.

• Before 22 April 2020, Eligible and interested candidates can apply for vacancies.

• For  paramedical staff, Southern Railway will be recruited on a contract basis for a maximum period of 3 months.

Vacancies Details and Important eligibility criteria:

Relaxation of Age:

1. 5 years relaxation of age for ST/SC candidates.

2. 3 years relaxation of age for OBC Non-Creamy layer candidates.

3. Age relaxation for 10 years for candidates with disability (Posts of only suitable Lab Technician for PWD (OH, VH candidates).

Details of Interview:

Candidates will be informed on their mobile number about to teleconference interview date and time.

Important Documents:

During take part in the interview, Candidates are requested to bring an original passport size photo of 06Nos size along with relevant certificates in support of age, qualification, pen card, Aadhaar card, experience, etc.

Medical Examination:

Before entering the contract, the candidate must undergo a medical examination for fitness in the works.

Selection Process:

Teleconference interview will be held for selection of eligible candidates for paramedical staff, Appointment will be based on the same.
