SSC CGL Recruitment 2022: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has finally released SSC CGL Notification PDF for filling up approx 20000 vacancies for the various vacant posts of Group 'B' and Group 'C' in various government ministries/departments/organizations across the country.

SSC CGL Notification 2022 - 20,000 vacancies

Selected candidates will be posted as Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant, Assistant, SI, Tax Assistant C, UDC, Assistant, Accountant, Auditor, Junior Statistical Officer (JSO), Inspector, Divisional Accountant, Assistant Audit Officer, Assistant Accounts Officer, Assistant Section Officer, Assistant Enforcement Officer, Senior Secretariat Assistant/ Upper Division Clerks and Inspector of Income Tax.

This year, the commission will select the candidates based on Tier 1 and Tier 2 only. Tier 3 and Tier 4 are now merged with Tier 2. There will be three papers in tier 2 in which paper is compulsory for all posts. SSC CGL Tier 2 Paper 1 consists of three new modules. The commission will also conduct a Physical Test for the UDC.

SSC CGL Vacancy 2022

Tentative vacancies: There are approx. 20,000 vacancies. However, firm vacancies will be determined in due course. Updated vacancies, if any, along with Post-wise& category-wise vacancies will be made available on the website of the Commission (https://ssc.nic.in> Candidate’s Corner > Tentative Vacancy) in due course. Candidates may note that State-wise/ Zone-wise vacancies are not collected by the Commission.

SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria

If you wish to join SSC CGL Recruitment 2022, then you must follow all the eligibility conditions for SSC CGL Apply online given by the Commission. Which is as follows -

Age Relaxation -

For information related to relaxation in upper age, read the notification carefully.

Selection Process:

Candidates will be selected as per their performance in the following exams -

• Tier-1 Online CBT (Objective Type)
• Tier-2 Online CBT (Objective Type)
• Skill Test/ Physical Test/ Document Verification)

SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam Pattern -

• Tier-I will consist of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions. The questions will be set both in English & Hindi except for English Comprehension.  
•  There will bea  negative marking of 0.50 for each wrong answer.

SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam Pattern -

• Tier II will include conducting Paper-I, Paper-II, and Paper-III in separate shifts/days.    
• Paper-I is compulsory for all the posts.
