SSC Jr. Engineer Selection Process

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) recruits the deserving candidates as per their skills and talent which is examined through -

  • Paper-I / CBT Objective Type (200 Marks)
  • Paper-II / Descriptive Type (300 Marks)
  • Document Verification
  • Your selection depends upon your performance in both the exams mentioned above.
  • Based on the marks scored in Paper-I, candidates will be shortlisted to appear in Paper-II.
  • Marks obtained both the papers will be counted at the time of determining the final merit list & cut off marks.

SSC JE Exam Pattern

Minimum qualifying marks, mandatory for every candidate to score to qualify the exam, for all categories for Paper-I & Paper-II have been mentioned below-

  • OBC/ EWS: 255
  • Others: 20%

  • The question paper will be set in both Hindi and English language.
