SSC JHT Vacancy Notification 2019

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is going to hold an Open Competitive Examination to fill up the vacancies for the post of Junior Translator, Junior Hindi Translator (JHT), Senior Hindi Translator and Hindi Pradhyapak available in various ministries/ departments and organizations of Indian Government.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the vacancies on the commission’s website before the last date. SSC JHT Eligibility Criteria:

Only those candidates who fulfill all the standard eligibility conditions will be able to appear in the examination, rest will get disqualified. So, you need to read the eligibility criteria very carefully and then only apply for the SSC JHT Exam 2019- 

Age Limit

  • Not to be more than 30 Years. (Age relaxation will be permissible for the candidates belonging to reserved categories)

Educational Qualification

  • Diploma/ Bachelor’s Degree/ Master’s Degree (according to the post designation) from a recognized institute/ college or university.

Selection Process:

Candidates for the available vacancies will be selected through an open competitive examination. All the applicants will have to attend the two-stage examination-

  • Paper-1 (Computer-Based Test)
  • Paper-2 (Conventional Paper)
  • Based on the aggregate performance in Paper-1 & 2, candidates will be shortlisted for the next round of the recruitment process i.e. Document Verification.
  • The Final Merit List will be prepared on the basis of the total marks scored by the candidates in both the exams.

Application Fee:

  • For General/ OBC Candidates: Rs. 100/-
  • Women/ SC/ ST/ PWD Candidates: Nil
  • Mode of Payment: (Online/Offline) Fee can be paid through BHIM UPI, Net Banking or by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit card or in cash at SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.

How to Apply??

The application forms will be submitted in online mode. If you are having trouble with the procedure, just follow the steps given below-

  • Visit the official website of SSC i.e. ssc.nic.in.
  • Click on the ‘Apply’ icon available at the homepage.
  • Go to ‘JHT’ and click on the ‘Apply’ link which will forward you to the login option.
  • If you are a new user then continue with the ‘Registration’.
  • Fill up the registration form and submit it.
  • You will be provided with your login credentials.
  • Now, login to the website with the provided credentials.
  • Fill up the details in the application form carefully.
  • Upload your scanned photograph and signature there.
  • Now, pay the application fee through any of the prescribed modes of payment.
  • Review the form and submit it.

Note- Keep a copy of the Fee Receipt & Application form for future reference.
