UPSC CISF Recruitment 2020 – Apply Online for 23 Posts!!

Dear Candidates,

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued a notification for Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE), 2021 for recruitment to the post of Assistant Commandant (Executive) in the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). Under this recruitment, a total of 23 vacant posts of Assistant Commandant are to be filled for various scheduled categories.

• The number of above vacancies is temporary.
• Also, there will be NO application fee for the applicants.
• The application process has started on the UPSC official website from December 2nd, on which interested and eligible candidates can apply online.

The category-wise vacancy distribution has been given below -

Eligibility Criteria:

The candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfill all eligibility conditions for admission to examination, as given below-

Age Limit -

• Maximum Age: 35 Years

Qualification -

• Graduate degree from recognized university
• 4 years regular service as on 01-01-2021 to the post of Sub Inspector (GD)/Inspector (GD)

Note: The SC/ST candidates will be given 5 years relaxation in maximum age limit.

How to Apply??

• The candidates are required to fill in the application form online on the UPSC’s website www.upsc.gov.in.
• Candidates are also required to route a hard copy of the online-submitted application through proper channel to the CISF authorities at the following address, for verification and onward transmission to the Commission: 

Director General, Central Industrial Security Force, 13, CGO Complex, Lodi Road, New Delhi, 110003

• Admission Certificates of the admitted candidates to this examination will be uploaded in the UPSC website www.upsc.gov.in two weeks before the date of examination and can be downloaded by the eligible candidates. 
• No paper Admission Certificate will be issued by the Commission.

Selection Process:

The candidate has to go through the selection process of the following steps.

• Written exam
• Physical and Medical Test
• Interview
