UPSC ESE & GEO Exam Notification 2021-22 : Know Application Process!!

Hello candidates, 

There is good news for the engineering pass applicants who are waiting for recruitment in UPSC. Recently, Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued two separate notifications on its official website inviting applications for Engineering Services Prelims Exam (ESE) 2022 – 247 Posts and Combined GEO-Scientist Exam 2022 – 192 Posts.

Male-Female candidates who are interested and eligible can apply online by visiting upsc.gov.in.

UPSC – 439 ESE & GEO Exam 2022

The posts for ESE (Preliminary) exam are divided into the following categories by UPSC - Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering.

     And

The posts for GEO (Scientist) exam are divided into the following categories - Geologist Group-A, Geophysicist Group-A, Chemist Group-A, Scientist 'B' (Hydrology), Scientist 'B' (Chemical), Scientist 'B' (Geophysics).

ESE & GEO Selection Process:

The selection of the candidates for the above posts will be done on the basis of the following -

• Preliminary Exam
• Mains exam
• Interview / Personality Test
