UPSC Notification 2021 - NDA/NA Exam for 400 Vacancies!!

Dear Candidates,

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued a notification for the entrance examination of candidates for the National Defense Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA)-I. Through the examination, 400 candidates will get admission in NDA (208 in Army, 42 in Navy and 120 in Air Force) and NA (30 posts in Naval Academy (10 + 2 Cadet Entry Scheme).

This is one of the esteemed examinations that’s been conducted yearly for 12^th pass candidates to provide them an opportunity to join the Naval and Defense Forces of India.

• The applications are available in both online and offline modes, eligible candidates can apply till January 19, 2021.  
• Interested candidates can visit the Commission's website, upsc.gov.in and application portal, upsconline.nic.in for applications.
• In the context of the original document, the eligibility conditions are verified only after the candidate is eligible for the Interview/Personality Test.

Required Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for NDA/NA Exam-I should ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility conditions for admission to the examination. Their admission at all the stages of the examination will be purely provisional subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions, as given below -

Note: Vacancies are temporary and subject to change depending on the availability of National Defense Academy and Naval Academy training capacity.

Selection Process:

Candidates for the recruitment will be selected on the following basis:

• Written exam
• SSB Test/Interview

• The links related to the examination are available on the home page.
• Click on the link for Part 1 registration along with the link related to NDA and NA exam.
• After this, the new page will open, where you will be able to go to the application page after reading the various guidelines given and agreeing to the terms & conditions.
• After Part 1 registration, the candidates registration number will be allotted, with the help of which candidates will be able to login and register Part 2.
