UPSC Recruitment 2020 – Notification Released for 204 Posts!!

Dear Candidates,

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited online applications from interested and eligible candidates for recruitment to 204 vacancies. This recruitment is for the selection of qualified candidates for the posts of Grade-3 Assistant Professor, Live Stock Officer and Assistant Engineer in various sections.

Candidates are requested to apply only Online against this advertisement on the Online Recruitment Application (ORA) website https://www.upsconline.nic.in/ and NOT write to the Commission for Application forms.

Detailed Description and Eligibility Criteria

There are certain eligibility conditions for the UPSC recruitment exam that must be followed by every candidate such as - educational qualification of eligible candidate, what should be the age limit, what will be the selection process etc.

Nationality/Citizenship -

The candidate must have one of the following:

• An Indian Citizen

or

• A Subject of Nepal/Bhutan

or

• A Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962 with the intention of permanently residing in India

or

• Permanent resident in India, or a person of Indian origin, who live in East African countries of Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanzania and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam Have come with the intention of staying in India permanently.

Upper Age Relaxation -

In the case of ex-servicemen and commission, officers including upper age limit ECOs / SSCOs will be given a five-year relaxation under the condition that from six months of continuous service verification provided by the ex-serviceman in the armed forces on the last date of receipt of applications. 

This waiver is also available for ECOs/ SSCOs who have completed their initial period of five years of military service assignment and whose assignment has been extended beyond five years as on the closing date and in which case the Ministry of Defense proof The letter issues that they were issued within 3 months upon selection from the date.

Candidates claiming age relaxation under this paragraph will be required to produce a certificate in the prescribed proforma to the Commission.

Selection Process:

• Candidates will be selected through INTERVIEW. 
• Candidates must score the minimum qualifying marks out of total 100 marks, UR / EWS-50 marks, OBC-45 marks, SC/ ST/ PH-40 marks.
