While all the states are conducting many recruitments in their medical department in view of the corona epidemic, the Andhra Pradesh government has also released 1855 vacancies for those having a medical specialization. Details about the AP DME Recruitment 2020 have been described below-

AP Medical Specialists Recruitment Notification 2020

The Directorate of Medical Education (DME) of Andhra Pradesh state has presented applications for the qualified candidates for the recruitment of certain categories of Specialists on 1855 posts to work in COVID Hospitals of the state for one year.

• Interested and eligible candidates will have to apply for the online application for Specialist posts on or before 5.PM on 07 May 2020 on the last date.
• Interested and eligible candidates will have to apply for the online application for Specialist Faculty posts with all their original documents on or before 5.PM on 09 May 2020.
• Interested and eligible candidates will have to apply for the online application for Specialist Faculty posts with all their original documents on or before 5.PM on 18 May 2020.
• Recruitment for the specialist posts is to be done for 1 year on a contractual basis.

Eligibility- Age Limit

The age limit according to the categories is as follows-

• 40 years for OC (Open Category) candidates
• 45 years for SC/ ST/ BC candidates
• 50 years for Ex-Service Men

Selection Process:

Selection will be done as follows: -

1. Total Marks: 100

2. 75% of marks obtained for qualifying in PG Degree / Super Specialty Examination.

3. The weightage for the years since passing the qualifying examination is 10 marks @ PG / Super-specialty up to 1 mark per year.

4. Weightage for contract service in Government institutions up to 15%.

• 2.5 points per six months in the tribal area,
• 2 points per six months in a rural area,
• 1 point per six months in the urban area,

5. There will be No Interview.

Stipend/Pay

1. Selected candidates will get Rs 1,10,000/- per month for all specialist posts.

2. Selected candidates will get Rs 53,945/- per month for all GDMO posts.

Documents Required-

• S.S.C. Certificate (proof of date of birth)
• Certificate from class IV to X and Intermediate.
• Marks lists of MBBS Part I & Part II & part III.
• MBBS/ MD/ MS/ DNB/ Degree Certificates.
• Post Graduate Degree Certificate/ Diploma/ Provisional Certificate, along with Marks lists (who are not produced marks list will not be considered).
• Registration of PG/ Diploma/ DNB degree with A.P. Medical Council.
• Latest Caste Certificate in case SC/ST/BC. (Certificates issued by MRO in case of SC/BC specifying caste and sub-group indicating A/B/C/D/E in case of BC’s)
