Assam SLPRB Police Recruitment 2020

State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB), Assam Police has invited applications from eligible candidates to fill 225 vacancies of Junior Assistant, Stenographer, Computer, Assistant Enforcement Inspector, Enforcement Checker, Grade-IV (District Level), Assistant Commercial Officer, Machinist, Fitter Helper, and Electrical Wireman posts. 

Applications must be submitted online through the SLPRB website (www.slprbassam.in) and will be received with effect from 20-07-2020. The last date of receiving application will be 08-08-2020. No application will be received thereafter.

Vacancy Details & Eligibility Criteria:

Citizenship:

• The candidate should be an Indian citizen, usually resident of Assam.
• He should register his name in any employment office in Assam.

Age limit (as on 01 January 2020):

• Minimum Age - 18 years
• Maximum Age - 38 years

Age Relaxation will be applicable for reserved category candidates. For the purpose of setting the age limit, SLPRB will accept only the date of birth as recorded in the matriculation or equivalent examination certificate/ admit card issued by a recognized education board.

Selection Process:

There will be two examinations for all the above posts: -

• First Stage (Written Examination)
• Phase II (Computer Base Test)

Important Points -

• Candidates whose applications are found to be correct in all respects will be called for a written examination which will be held at any convenient place based on the number of candidates.
• After the completion of the written exam, a merit list will be prepared for each category based on the marks obtained in it. 
• Candidates will be called for the second stage (CBT) on the basis of this merit list.
