BANK OF INDIA, a leading Public Sector Bank having Head Office in Mumbai, invites applications for recruitment of Sportspersons. Interested and qualified candidates should check the official notification before participating in recruitment to the posts of sportspersons. 

• A total of 28 vacant posts will be filled through this recruitment process, out of which 14 vacancies are for Clerk in JMGS-I and 14 vacancies for General Banking Officer.

Vacancy Details -

There is no reservation in recruitment for SC/ ST/ OBC/ EWS/ Persons with Benchmark Disability. The number of vacancies is temporary and may vary according to the bank's requirements.

Required Eligibility Criteria -

Candidates should check eligibility before application, along with the vacancies, eligibility criteria have also been given for the meritorious player, which you can check in the notification.

Nationality:

A candidate should be a citizen of India.

Sports Eligibility:

• Officer: Sporting Event/ Championship classified under Category A, B and C.
• Clerk: Sporting Event/ Championship classified under Category D.

Age Limit:

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 25 years

However, the minimum age limit for the post of Clerk has been set at 20 years for the candidates participating in the ‘Khelo India Sporting Event’.

Selection Process -

• Selection will be done through shortlisting for Interview or Field Trial Based on their qualification, experience, and overall suitability for the post.
• Shortlisting in the Officer Cadre will be through screening of an application, interviews will take place after conducting field trials in the respective sports.
• Shortlisting in the clerical cadre will be through the screening of applications and conducting field trials.
• Candidates will be called for an interview or field trial in the ratio of 3: 1 for the number of vacancies.
