BSF Recruitment 2022 - Notification Out for 2788 Constable Posts

India's border guarding organization has released bumper recruitment for Male and Female Indian Citizens. Recently, the Border Security Force (BSF), Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India has invited online applications for the post of Constable (Tradesman) Exam 2021-22. Around 2788 vacancies have been notified for the year 2021-22, for various Trades/Posts such as Cobbler, Tailor, Cook, Sweeper, Barber, Electrician, Painter, Draughtsman, Waiter, Mali,  Water Man, Washer Carrier.

BSF Constable Recruitment 2022 - Important Dates

Eligible and interested Male and Female candidates can submit their BSF CT Application Form from 16 January 2022 to 01 March 2022 on the official website - rectt.bsf.gov.in.

• The most important thing is the candidate can apply for only one post/trade.
• The recruitment will comprise of Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Documentation, Trade Test, Written Examination and Detailed Medical Examination (DME).

Eligibility Criteria for BSF Vacancy 2022  

Before applying online application, Candidates are advised to go through the requirement of educational certificate, trade experience certificate, age, physical standards, physical efficiency test, etc and satisfy themselves that they are eligible for the post before applying. BSF reserves the right to cancel the candidature of any candidate at any stage of the selection process. Important vacancy detail and eligibility criteria are as follows -

Educational Qualification:

10th Exam with ITI certificate in Related Trade/2 years Diploma in related trade

Age Limit:

Between 18 to 23 years as on 01.08.2021

Method Of Selection:

The selection method will be as under:-

(A) FIRST PHASE OF EXAMINATION -

Candidates whose online application forms are found to be in order will be called to appear in PST/PET.

(I) Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET):-

• At the very beginning of the recruitment process, candidates will be asked to go through the height bar, and thereby, candidates with lesser height will get eliminated and will not be allowed to participate in further process of recruitment.

Those candidates who qualify the height bar will be subject to the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) which will be as under:-

(II) TRADE TEST:-

The candidates who qualify in the PST, PET & Documentation will be put through the respective Trade Test. Each candidate will be allowed to appear for one trade test only. The Trade Test will be qualifying in nature and it will not carry any marks. The exquisite skill/qualification for each trade.

(B) SECOND PHASE OF EXAMINATION -

Written Examination for 100 marks:–

• Successful candidates in the first phase examination i.e. PST, PET, Documentation, and Trade Test will be called to appear in the second phase of examination i.e. Written Examination which will be communicated to the candidates through E-Mail address/ SMS for call letters online.

The question paper will consist of one objective type paper containing 100 questions carrying 100 marks with the following composition:-

(C) THIRD PHASE OF EXAMINATION -

Detailed Medical Examination:-

• The candidates who qualify all the above stages i.e. PST, PET, Documentation, Trade Test, and Written Test will be put through Detailed Medical Examination (DME) which will be carried out by the Medical Board of Officers to assess their physical & medical fitness.
