The latest ranking of 2022 by the cleanliness survey Swachh Survekshan marks Indore as the cleanest city of India. Indore has held the title of being India's cleanest city for six consecutive years.

World Television Day is celebrated on November 21 every year to discuss the importance and significance of television in our lives. It was declared by the United Nations General Assembly in 1996.

According to the IPF Smart Policing Index 2021, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Assam, Kerala and Sikkim have the best policing. The study suggests that Delhi, Kerala and Maharashtra have the best police forces. However, this is only a relative judgment as poorer states tend to have weaker police forces.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) today confirmed Geoff Allardice has been appointed as the organisation’s permanent CEO after more than eight months in the role on an interim basis. Allardice, a former first-class cricketer, was the ICC General Manager, Cricket for eight years having previously held a similar role at Cricket Australia. 

Indian badminton legend Prakash Padukone gets BWF Lifetime Achievement Award

• The Badminton World Federation will honour Badminton star Prakash Padukone with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award this year (BWF).
• The Indian legend was shortlisted by the BWF Council based on the award commission's suggestion.
