Delhi Police Head Constable Recruitment 2022 - 2268 Vacancies

The Staff Selection Commission will conduct an open competitive examination for recruitment of Constable (Driver)-Male, Head Constable {Assistant Wireless Operator (AWO)/Tele-Printer Operator (TPO)} in Delhi Police as per the Memorandum of Understanding signed between Delhi Police and the SSC.

• Candidates must be the citizen of India.
• Candidates from all parts of the country will be eligible to apply.
• Applications will be accepted through on-line mode only.
• The post of Constable (Driver) is not suitable for Persons with Disabilities and female candidates.

Selection Process -

(A) For SSC Head Constable:

The selection process shall consist of the following compulsory tests in the given order:-

• All candidates (Male & Female) including Ex-servicemen shall be put through a Computer Based Examination of One and half hour (90 Minutes) duration to be conducted at different Centers.
• The Computer Based Examination will consist of one objective type question paper containing 100 Questions carrying 100 marks.
• There will be ‘No negative’ marks for wrong answer.  

The question paper for Computer Based Examination on the following subjects will be conducted in HINDI and ENGLISH Only:-

(B) For SSC Constable (Driver):

• The recruitment process will consist of Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT), Trade Test, Document Verification and Medical Examination of finally selected candidates.  
• All candidates whose online applications are found to be in order will be called to appear in the Computer Based Examination. The Commission will conduct the examination for all candidates in Computer Based Mode only. Admission Certificates for Computer Based Examination will be uploaded on the website of the SSC Regional Offices concerned.  
• Computer Based Examination will be conducted in English and Hindi only.
