The interested and eligible candidates will be selected as per their performance in the Prelims Exam, Mains Exam, and Skill Test. Eligibility Criteria:

There are certain eligibility parameters for age, qualification, and nationality which are mandatory to be adhered by every participating candidate.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age- 18 Yrs.
• Maximum Age- 27 Yrs.
• Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per the government norms.

Minimum Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university or equivalent 
• Minimum typing speed of 5000 key depressions per hour for Data Entry Work.

Application Fee:

• For General/OBC Candidates- Rs. 500/-
• For SC/ ST/ PWD/ ExS/ Female Candidates- Rs. 250/-
• Mode of payment will be online via any of the debit/ credit card, net banking, IMPS, cash card or mobile wallet.

How to Apply?

• Visit the official website i.e. www.epfindia.gov.in.
• Click on the link ‘Apply Online for Recruitment to the Post of SSA-2019 in EPFO ‘available at the home page.
• Now, go for ‘Registration’, if you are a new user else, you can continue with the ‘Login’ option.
• Fill up the basic details in the registration form.
• A provisional registration number and password will be generated by the system, note them down and log in to the website with these credentials.
• Now, enter the required details in the application form.
• Save the application and press on the ‘Next’ button.
• Move ahead to upload your scanned photograph and signature.
• Proceed to fill the other details and preview the filled details before Final Submit.
• Click on ‘Payment’ tab and pay the application fee amount through any of the online payment services.
• Do take the copy of the payment receipt and application form.
• Submit the form.

Selection Process:

The selection procedure of the open-recruitment process will be consisted of 3 phases, as given below-

• Preliminary Exam (Phase-I)
• Mains Examination (Phase-II)
• Computer Skill Test (Phase-III)

Salary/ Pay Scale:

• Pay Matrix - Level- 4 (Civilian employees Gr. ’C’)
• Entry Pay- Rs 25,500/- (Under 7thPay Commission).
• They will also be eligible to take benefits of certain allowances as per rules from time to time.

Exam Pattern:

The exam scheme for every phase of the recruitment process has been described below. Also, you can check out the syllabus for the respective subjects on the official website of EPFO.

Phase I - Preliminary Exam

• Prelims exam is qualifying in nature and the marks obtained in this exam will not be reckoned for final merit.
• There will be negative marking on every wrong answer.
• The questions will be objective-type.

Phase II - Mains Exam

• Marks obtained in mains exam will be reckoned for the final merit.
• For each wrong answer, there will be a deduction of 1/4^th of the marks assigned to that question.
• Apart from the descriptive paper, all the other subject-questions will be objective type.
• The descriptive paper will be conducted online immediately after completion of the online objective test of Phase-II Main Examination. 

Phase III - Computer Skill Test 

• The skill test will actually be a computer typing-test to assess speed and accuracy of the candidate for data-entry work.
• It will be qualifying in nature.
