The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts this exam every year to recruit clerical cadre staff in the public sector banks across the country. IBPS Clerk Eligibility Criteria:
The candidates, who intend to apply for the available IBPS Clerk Vacancy 2020, must adhere to the minimum eligibility conditions that are specified in the official notification. Also, you must carry the relevant original documents in support of your category, age limit, education, etc to prove your statement. Check out the eligibility criteria below:-
Age Limit -
- Minimum Age Limit: 20 Years
- Maximum Age Limit: 28 Years
However, age relaxation is permissible for candidates belonging to SC, ST and OBC as per the government guidelines in this regard.
Educational Qualification -
- A candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree (Graduate) from a recognized university.
- No limitation of the Minimum Percentage for the examination.
Selection Process:
The Common Recruitment Process will be completed in two phases, i.e.
- Online Preliminary Exam
- Online Mains Exam
- Candidates who will qualify the Prelims will be called for the Mains exam.
- There will be a step of Pre-Exam Training (optional) to introduce the candidates about the exam, scheme & pattern, syllabus and to resolve other exam-related queries.
Application Fee:
There is a certain amount of fees known as application fee/ intimation charges, payable by the candidate at the time of applying for the IBPS Clerk Recruitment. Without depositing this fee, your application form will get canceled. Here, we have provided the category-wise application fee to be paid by the candidates -
- For General/OBC Candidates: Rs. 850/-
- For SC/ST/EXS/PWD Candidates: Rs. 175/-
- The fee can be paid via Debit Cards (RuPay/ Visa/ MasterCard/ Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets.
How to Apply??
First, go through the notification and find out if you are eligible for the examination according to the eligibility criterion identified for this examination by IBPS.
- At the very first step, visit www.ibps.in, and apply immediately for CRP Clerks–X in order to avoid any issue at a later date.
- Keep all the details ready with you before applying and provide the correct information only.
- Upload all the required documents there in the prescribed format.
- Pay the application fee amount online by cash cards/ credit cards/ debit cards/ mobile wallets etc. An e-receipt will be generated once your payment is successful.
- You should take a print out of the application form along with the e-receipt for your future reference. Also, the application form will be required at the time of joining if you get selected through the examination in any of the participating organizations.
