ICMR Recruitment 2020 – Notification Released on Assistant Posts!!
Dear Candidates,
The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), New Delhi has invited online applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment for Assistant Group-B (Level 6) posts for a total of 80 vacancies.
The online application process has started on ICMR recruitment portal, https://recruit.icmr.org.in/. Interested candidates can apply online till 3rd December 2020.

Age Relaxation -
- 5 years relaxation for SC / ST category.
- 3-year exemption for OBC category.
- 10-year relaxation for PwD category.
- 13-year relaxation for PwD + OBC category.
- 15 years relaxation for PwD + SC / ST category.
- Age relaxation is different for central government civil servants.
Selection Process:
Selection of candidates for the above posts will be done on the following basis:
- Written exam
- Skill test
The qualifying marks for written examination are 50% for UR/ OBC/ EWS and 40% for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates. Only those candidates who pass the written examination will be called for skill test.

- 80% Marks/Weightage will be for Written/Computer-Based Test (MCQs).
- There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
- Skill test where prescribed in the required qualification will be conducted and 20% marks/ weightage will be given.
- Indicative Syllabus for Computer Based Tests. Question papers will be in English language only. Questions can be raised from the following topics / specialties.
