Indian Army Agneepath Recruitment 2022: Notification Out for Agniveer Vacancy
Dear Candidates,
Indian Army has declared the Indian Army Agneepath Agniveer Rally Notification 2022 on 20 June. Under the scheme, online registration is mandatory. All candidates will have to login to join the Indian Army Website (joinindianarmy.nic.in ).
Registration will be opened from July 2022 onwards by respective AROs for Agniveer General Duty, Agniveer Technical, Agniveer Technical (Aviation/Ammunition Examiner), Agniveer Clerk/Store Keeper Technical, Agniveer Tradesman 10th pass, and Agniveer Tradesman 8th pass as per the rally schedule.

Indian Army Agneepath Scheme | Overview
Candidates will be enrolled under Army Act 1950 for a service duration of four years including the training period. The selection of the candidates will be done through Physical Fitness Test, Physical Measurement Test, Medical Test, and Written Test.

Army Eligibility
Applicants are required to ensure their eligibility before applying for this recruitment. The complete details and necessary eligibility criteria for recruitment are as follows:
Educational Qualifications -
Posts/Discipline | Qualification |
Agniveer (General Duty) (All Arms) | The candidates should have passed Class 10/Matric with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. |
Agniveer (Technical) (All Arms) |
The candidates should have passed a 10+2/Intermediate Exam in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and English with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject. OR The candidates should have passed a 10+2 intermediate exam from any recognized State Education Board or Central Education Board to include NIOS and ITI course of a minimum of one year in the required field with NSQF level 4 or above. |

The candidates should have passed 10+2 | Intermediate Exam Pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 600/o marks in aggregate and a minimum of 50% in each subject. Securing 50% in English and Maths/Accounts/BookKeeping in Class Xll is mandatory. |
Agniveer Tradesmen (All Arms) 10th pass | The candidates should have passed 10th exam. No stipulation in aggregate percentage, but should have scored 33% in each subject. |
Agniveer Tradesmen (All Arms) 8th pass | The candidates should have passed 8th exam. No stipulation in aggregate percentage, but should have scored 33% in each subject. |
- Minimum Age: 17.5 years
- Maximum Age: 23 years
The upper age limit has been relaxed from 21 years to 23 years as a one-time measure for the Recruiting Year 2022-23.
Indian Army Agniveer Salary
The pay & emoluments of Agniveers will be as given below :-
- 1st Year - Rs. 30,000/- (plus applicable allowances.)
- 2nd Year - ₹33,000/- (plus applicable allowances.)
- 3rd Year - 36,500/- (plus applicable allowances.)
- 4th Years- 40,000/- (plus applicable allowances.)
Selection Process
The candidates will be selected as follow:
- Physical Fitness Test (At Rally Sites)
- Physical Measurement (At Rally Site)
- Medical Test
- Written Test through Common Entrance Examination (CEE)
