Indian Army Recruitment 2022 – Apply for Junior Commissioned Officer Posts!

Indian Army has invited online applications from eligible men & women candidates for recruitment of Religious Teachers in the Indian Army as Junior Commissioned Officers for RRT 91 & 92 courses.

A  total of 128 vacancies are for Pandit, Pandit (Gorkha), Granthi, Maulvi (Shia), Padri, Bodh Monk, and Maulvi (Sunni) categories. 

The candidate's responsibility is to preach religious scriptures to troops and conduct various rituals at Regimental/Unit religious institutions. Other than this, they are required to attend funerals, minister to the sick in hospitals, read prayers with the convalescents, visiting soldiers undergoing sentence, give special religious instructions to the children and enlisted boys besides generally attending to the religious institutions and welfare of the Officers, Soldiers and their families.

Applicants are required to ensure their eligibility before applying for this recruitment. The complete details and necessary eligibility criteria for recruitment are as follows:

• These vacancies are tentative and may be changed at any stage.  
• All the Eligibility Criteria will be common for In Service and Direct Entry Candidates.

Qualification -

• Candidate Should Posses Diploma/ Degree (Relevant Discipline).

Age Limit (as on 01-10-2022) -

• Minimum Age: 25 years
• Maximum Age: 36 years
• Age relaxation is Applicable as per the rules.

Army JCO Selection Process

Written Examination, Interview, and Terms of Enrollment: Screened candidates will be put through a written examination which will be conducted on 26 Feb 2023. The written examination will contain an objective type of questions and comprise two papers as follows:-
