ITBP Recruitment 2022: Constable & Head Constable (Motor Mechanic) Posts!

Good news for 10th & 12th pass candidates...

ITBP has invited online applications from eligible Male Indian citizens (including subjects of Nepal & Bhutan) for filling up the following vacancies for the post of Head Constable (Motor Mechanic) & Constable (Motor Mechanic) Group 'C' Non-Gazetted (Non-Ministerial) on temporary basis likely to be permanent in ITBPF. 

Selected candidates will be liable to serve anywhere in India or abroad.

According to the ITBP Constable Recruitment drive, a total of 186 vacant posts will be filled in the organization. The registration process will be started on October 29, 2022.

ITBP Constable Vacancy & Eligibility

Detail of vacancies as per post based roster are as under:

(a)The vacancies are tentative and may increase or decrease without any notice. Any change in the number of vacancies will be intimated through the ITBP Recruitment website.

(b)ITBPF reserves the right to make changes in the sequence of the recruitment procedure after the publication of this advertisement. ITBPF also reserves the right to cancel or postpone the recruitment at any stage due to administrative reasons. 

(c)10% of vacancies are reserved for Ex-Servicemen.

Selection Process

Candidates will have to undergo the following recruitment tests:: -

• Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST)
• Written Exam & Skill Test
• Documentation, Detailed Medical Examination (DME)/ Review Medical Examination (RME)

Written Exam Pattern -

The candidates who qualify in documentation will be required to undergo a written examination. Admit cards will be issued online by mentioning the date and venue of the written test. Candidates have to download an online admit card from the ITBPF recruitment website.

The written examination carrying 100 Marks will consist of objective type Multiple Choice Questions. However, the pattern of written tests i.e. OMR based or Computer Based Test (CBT) will be at the discretion of ITBPF. 

The questions for the written examination to the post of Head Constable (Motor Mechanic) shall be of 12th standard and the questions for the written examination to the post of Constable (Motor Mechanic) shall be of 10th standard.

The pattern of question papers of written examination will be as under:

• Male candidates belonging to UR, OBC, and EWS categories applying for this recruitment will have to pay Rs 100 as an application fee. 
• Candidates belonging to the Schedule Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Females, and Ex-Servicemen are exempted from paying the fees.
