LIC Assistant Vacancy Notification 2019
Life Insurance Corporation of India invites interested and eligible candidates to apply for the LIC Assistant Recruitment 2019. The online application forms have been uploaded on the LIC website. Candidates will be recruited on the Clerical posts including other posts such as Cashier, Single Window Operator, Customer Service Executive, etc.

Eligibility Criteria -
Below are given the eligibility parameters that are mandatory to be followed by each and every candidate otherwise the candidature of the candidate will get canceled-
Age Limit:
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 30 Years
The age-relaxation in upper age-limit will be provided to the SC/ST/OBC/EXS/PWS candidates as per the government norms.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must carry a Bachelor’s Degree (Graduate) from an Indian university/ college/ institute recognized by the government.
Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected through a two-tier examination and subsequent Medical Examination, i.e.-
- Preliminary Exam (Phase I)
- Mains Exam (Phase II)
Both the examinations will be conducted online and the questions asked will be Objective Type.
Salary/ Pay Scale:
- Pay Scale: Rs. 14435/- to Rs. 40080/-
- Gross Salary: Rs. 30000/-
- Also, the candidates will benefit from various perks and allowances.
Application Fee:
Application Fee or the Intimation Charges will be applicable in order to submit the online forms successfully. Here, check the details-
- For SC/ST/PWD Candidates: Rs. 85/- Intimation Charges + GST + Transaction Charges
- For General/OBC/Others: Rs. 510/- Intimation Charges + GST + Transaction Charges
- The amount will be paid via Online Mode only (Via Debit/ Credit Card/ UPI/ Net Banking etc.)
How to Apply??
All the candidates who intend to apply for the available vacancies are required to apply online for the LIC Assistant Recruitment before the last date. You can follow the following procedure to successfully submit your online application form-

- Now, go to the ‘Careers’ link available at the bottommost part of the home page.
- Click on the link available there for ‘Recruitment of Assistants- 2019’.
- Process to the Next Page and check the Zone-Wise Detailed Notification.
- Now, go to the link available there for ‘Apply Online’.
- Login to the website or register yourself there if you are a new user.
- After filling up the registration form, you will be assigned with the login credentials, you need to log in with the help of these credentials.
- Fill up the application form and upload the required documents.
- Pay the application fee amount via any of the Online Payment Services.
- Keep the printout of the e-receipt for future reference.
- Double-check the details provided in the form and submit it.
LIC Assistant Exam Pattern 2019
As we have already discussed that the selection will be based upon the performance of the candidates in the Preliminary and Mains Exams. Let’s discuss the exam pattern of both the phases-
Phase 1- Preliminary Exam Pattern:
- Under negative marking, 1/4th marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
- This test will be qualifying in nature as the marks will not be considered for final selection.

- ¼ marks will be deducted for wrong answers in this examination.
