NFR Apprentice Recruitment 2022 - 5636 Vacancies
North Frontier Railway (NFR), Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) has invited online applications from eligible candidates for engagement of Act Apprentices for imparting training under the Apprentices Act, 1961 in the designated trades at workshops/units in the jurisdiction of N.F. Railway against 5636 slots.
Shortlisted candidates will be appointed under various trades in its multiple workshops/units, including Katihar (KIR)& TDH workshop, Alipurduar (APDJ), Rangiya (RNY), Lumding (LMG), S&T/workshop/ MLG (PNO) & Track Machine/MLG, Tinsukia (TSK), New Bongaigaon Workshop (NBQS) & EWS/BNGN, Dibrugarh Workshop (DBWS).

Educational Qualification -
- The candidate should be 10th class passed or it's equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with a minimum of 50% marks, in aggregate, from the recognized Board.
- Also possess National Trade Certificate (ITI) in the notified trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training or Provisional Certificate issued by National Council for Vocational Training/State Council for Vocational Training.
Age Limit:
- Minimum Age: should have completed 15 Years
- Maximum Age: should not have completed 24 Years
Upper Age Limit -
- 5 years for SC/ ST
- 3 years for OBC-NCL
- 10 years for PWBD
- 10 years for Ex-serviceman
Application Fees:
- Candidates should pay Rs.100/-
- For SC/ST/PWBD/Women candidates: NIL
- Payment can be done through Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Internet Banking etc.
Selection Process:
Selection will be based on the merit list prepared (trade-wise). The merit list in each unit will be prepared based on the percentage of marks obtained in matriculation (with a minimum of 50% aggregate. ITI marks in the trade in which Apprenticeship is to be done will be based on the average marks in the matriculation and ITI.
For the purpose of calculation of the percentage of matriculation, marks obtained by the candidates in all subjects will be reckoned and not based on marks of any subject or a group of subjects like best of five, etc.
