PNB Recruitment 2020 - Notification Released for SO (Manager)

Punjab National Bank Recruitment 2020 – 535 SO Posts

Punjab National Bank (PNB) has issued a notification for the recruitment of Special Officers (Manager and Senior Manager) on 535 vacancies. If you also want to get a job in the bank sector, then this is a good opportunity for both freshers and experienced candidates.

• The number of vacancies is temporary and may vary as per the bank requirement.
• Candidates belonging to reserved categories for which no vacant posts have been announced. can apply against the declared vacancies for the unreserved/ general category. Provided that they meet the prescribed eligibility criteria of general category candidates.
• Interested candidates can apply for these posts via online mode on https://www.pnbindia.in/ till 29th September 2020.

Age Relaxation -

• Age relaxation of 5 years for SC / ST candidates.
• Age relaxation of 3 years for OBC Candidate.
• Age relaxation of 10 years for benchmark disabled candidates.
• Age relaxation of 5 years for Ex-servicemen candidates.
• Children and family members who were killed in the 1984 riots, 3 years relaxation in age for the candidates.

Selection Process:

Selection of the eligible candidates will be done through:

• Online Examination 
• Interview

Online Exam -

• Negative marking will be applicable in the examination.
• For each wrong answer, ¼th of the assigned marks will be deducted.
• If the question left unanswered, no marks will be deducted for it.

Interview -

• The total marks allotted for the interview is 35. 
• The minimum qualifying marks will not be less than 40%.
• The combined final score of the candidate will be based upon the aggregate marks obtained by the candidates in the online main examination and interview.
• The interview score of the candidate failing to achieve the minimum qualifying marks, otherwise the interview will not be withheld or further processing will be revealed.
• A candidate must pass both the online main examination and the interview and must be sufficiently high in merit to be shortlisted for the final allotment process later.
