SBI Clerk Recruitment 2022 – Notification Release for 5486 Posts

The most awaited SBI Clerk Notification 2022 is out on 06th September 2022 by the State Bank of India. Applications have been invited from eligible Indian Citizens for appointment as Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) in the clerical cadre for a total of 5486 vacancies.

SBI Clerk Notification 2022 Overview 

Candidates can apply for vacancies in one State/UT only. Candidates can appear for the test only once under this recruitment project. The candidates applying for vacancies in a particular State/UT should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding) in the specified opted local language of that State/UT. 

• The test for knowledge of the specified opted local language will be conducted as a part of the selection process. It will be conducted after qualifying for the online main examination but be re  joining the Bank. Candidates who fail to qualify for this test will not be offered an appointment. 
• Candidates who produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate evidencing having studied the specified opted local language will not be required to undergo the language test
• There is no provision for Inter Circle Transfer / Inter State Transfer for Junior Associates.

Qualification -

Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.

Age limit (as on 01.08.2022) -

• Maximum - 20 years
  
• Minimum - 28 years

Upper age relaxation -

• 5 years for SC / ST and 3 years for OBC.
  
• 10 years for PWD (Gen / EWS), 15 years for PWD (SC / ST), and 13 years for PWD (OBC).
  
• 8-year exemption for ex-servicemen.

Pay scale -

Rs.17900-1000/3-20900-1230/3-24590-1490/4-30550- 1730/7-42600-3270/1-45930-1990/1-47920. The starting Basic Pay is Rs.19900/- (Rs.17900/- plus two advance increments admissible to graduates).

Selection Process:

The selection of the candidatures on the above posts will be on the following basis -

• Preliminary exam
  
• Mains exam

Phase I - Preliminary Examination -

• In the objective test 1/4 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
