SSC Constable Recruitment 2020 - 5846 Vacancies in Delhi Police
The Staff Selection Commission presents online applications for an Open Recruitment Exam from young men and women candidates for the post of Constable (Executive) in Delhi Police as per the Memorandum of Understanding signed between Delhi Police and SSC.
- Candidates from all parts of the country will be eligible to apply.
- Out of total, 3902 posts are for male candidates and 1944 are for female candidates.
- Applications will be accepted through online mode only.
Staff Selection Commission has announced the constable (executive) man and woman in Delhi Police Computer Based Examination (CBT) result on its official website. The result for Delhi Police Constable 2020-21 exam has been declared on 15th March 2021 at the official website of SSC i.e. https://ssc.nic.in.

Essential Eligibility Criteria -
Candidates who do not fulfill all the conditions of the eligibility criteria will be disqualified by the Commission for all posts. Therefore, before applying for the SSC Constable Exam 2020, you need to confirm your eligibility, as per the given standards-
Educational Qualification :
Candidates are required to have passed Senior Secondary (10 + 2) from any recognized board.
Age limit (as on 01-07-2020):
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 25 years
Age Relaxation :
- SC/ ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- Ex-service (UR/ EWS): 3 years
- Sportspersons (as per the sports mentioned in the contract): 05 and 10 years

Selection Process -
The suitable candidates will be selected solely on the basis of their performance in:
- Computer-Based Examination (CBT)
- Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT)
- Medical Examination
Candidates whose online applications are found to be perfect will be given the chance to appear in the Computer Based Examination (CBT).
The final result will be declared by the Commission based on the performance of candidates in the Computer Based Examination subject to their qualifying the PE&MT.
Exam Pattern -
- The question paper will be of matriculation-level.
- All the 100 questions will be objective type and 100 marks in the computer-based examination.
- There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
- All the questions will be set in both English and Hindi.

Physical Standards -
For Constable (Executive) Male :
- Height - 170 cm (165 cm for ST)
- Chest - 81 cm-85 cm (76 cm-80 cm for ST)
For Constable (Executive) Women:
- Height-157 cm (155 cm for SC / ST)
Application Fee -
- Application fees for General and OBC: Rs 100/-
- Women candidates and candidates of SC, ST, and Ex-servicemen (are exempted from payment of fees.
Fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking using VBI, MasterCard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit Card or SBI Challan in cash at SBI branch.
