Punjab Police Recruitment 2021: Notification Released for 560 Sub-Inspector Posts!!

SI recruitment will be conducted in four cadres - District Police Cadre, Armed Police Cadre, Investigation Cadre and Intelligence Cadre.

Punjab Police Sub-Inspector Recruitment 2021

• Selected candidates can be posted/deployed anywhere in Punjab, India or abroad.

Recruitment Details and Eligibility Criteria

Qualification -

• SI (District Police, Armed Police, Investigation cadre): Candidate should be a graduate from a recognized university, or its equivalent
• SI (Intelligence Officer): Any Degree/ Degree (CS/ CA/ IT)/ B.Sc/ B.Tech/ BE (IT/ CS/ Computer Engg/ CS & Engg/ IS/ Computer Network/ Data Science/ Software Engg/ BCA, PG Diploma (CA)

Age Limit (as on 01-01-2021) -

• Minimum Age – 18 year
• Maximum Age – 28 year

Selection Process:

Candidates will be selected on the basis of two stages -

1. Computer Based Test
2. Document Scrutiny /Physical Measurement Test (PMT) /Physical Screening Test (PST)

Note: Both Physical Measurement Test and Physical Screening Test shall be qualifying in nature.

CBT Pattern -

• The first stage of the selection process shall be the Computer Based Test consisting of two (2) multiple-choice Question Papers. The Question Papers shall be bilingual viz. in Punjabi and English.
