Railway Group D Vacancy 2019 

The whole railway system has been divided into several zones. You would be amused to know that the number of vacancies available is in lakhs (really!!). The zone-wise distribution of the available vacancies for various posts has been furnished below for immediate reference.  However, the number of vacancies is tentative and the Railway authorities reserve the right to revise them and we will keep you updated about it. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates should ensure that they possess/fulfill all eligibility conditions prescribed in the official notification, as mentioned below-

Educational Qualification -

Before applying you must know that what is the education Criteria of Railway Group D which is below:

Candidates who have passed their Matriculation (Class 10th/High School) Level of Examination from any recognized board along with having ITI Certification in relevant trade from NCVT/SCVT approved institution OR NAC Certification holders will be eligible for this recruitment.

Age Limit -

• Minimum Age- 18 years
• Maximum Age- 33 years. 
• A candidate's age will be calculated on 1st July 2019.

Age Relaxation -

Railway Group D allows upper-age relaxation for a few categories' candidates.

• ST/SC-  5 years.
•  OBC- 3 Years.

Nationality criteria:

A candidate must be either:

• a citizen of India, or
• a subject of Nepal, or
• a subject of Bhutan, or
• a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
• a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
• Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) above shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
• A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the Examination but the offer of appointment will be given only after, the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him/ her by the Government of India.

Application Fee:

• General and OBC category: Rs 500/- (Rs one hundred only) 
• Female/ SC/ ST/ PWD/ EBC/ Ex-S: Rs 250/- (Rs one hundred only)
• Out of this fee of Rs.500/- an amount of Rs. 400/- for General and OBC category & Rs.250/- reserved candidates shall be refunded in due course duly deducting bank charges as applicable on appearing in CBT.
• Fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards or Challan.
