Home Guard Department Rajasthan - 2500 Posts Recruitment 2020

The Department of Home Defense Rajasthan has released an official notification announcing the recruitment of both men and women candidates for the posts of home guards (volunteers). This recruitment will be done to fill up a total of 2500 posts.

The submission of online applications for the Home Guard Recruitment 2020 will begin from June 10th. Earlier, the application process was to start from 7 April but due to the nationwide lockdown that came into force after the coronavirus epidemic, the application process was postponed.

As per the notice issued on the official website, (home.rajasthan.gov.in) -

• interested candidates, fulfilling the necessary eligibility conditions can apply from 10th June to 09th July 2020.
• There is a provision for 30% reservation for women in home guard recruitment.

Eligibility Criteria:

Note:  The candidate should be a native of the respective district and should have resided continuously for the last 3 years in the Municipal Corporation/ Municipal Council/ Municipality/ Tehsil related to the recruitment center/ sub-center.

Age Limit -

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 35 years

Selection Process:

Candidates will be selected on the basis of 6 stages, as given under-

• Registration and checking of certificates
• Physical measurement
• Physical efficiency test
• Special Qualification
• Issue count for enrollment exam
• Merit list

Place of Examination -

Examination centers for Rajasthan Home Guard Recruitment- Alwar, Barmer, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, Udaipur and Sri Ganganagar districts.

How to Apply??

• Interested and eligible candidates can apply from 10th June onwards from the official website (home.rajasthan.gov.in).
• You will need an SSO ID to apply. 
• You can create this SSO ID at sso.rajasthan.gov.in or get it made free at e-Mitra kiosk. 
• After creating an SSO ID you will be able to log in and apply.

Application Fee:

• For General/ OBC Candidates: Rs. 200/-
• For ST/SC/MBC/PWD Candidates: Rs. 175/-
