RPSC School Lecturer Recruitment 2022 – Know the Required Eligibility Here!

Hello candidates,

After announcing 6000 vacancies for the post of 1st-grade teacher, Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has released one more new recruitment for Lecturer-School including subjects of Hindi, English, General grammar, Literature & Grammar.

Interested candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of the Commission, rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in from 16th May 2022. In addition, applicants need to ensure the following eligibility before applying. 

RPSC School Lecturer Recruitment 2022 - 102 Posts

This recruitment has been made under the Rajasthan Sanskrit Education State and Subordinate Services (School Branch) Rules, 2015 for the Sanskrit Education Department. 

The post of School Lecturer is temporary and the total number of posts received from the department may increase or decrease. Candidates will be selected through a competitive examination. The venue and date of the examination will be informed in due course.

Academic Qualification:

For Hindi & English -

Second class post-graduate degree in the concerned subject having a minimum of 48% marks with Shiksha Shastri/B.Ed. degree.

For General grammar, Literature & Grammar -

Shastri or equivalent traditional Sanskrit examination with Sanskrit medium and Second Class Acharya degree or equivalent Sanskrit medium examination in the concerned subject having minimum 48% marks with Shiksha Shastri degree or equivalent. 

Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagari Script and knowledge of Rajasthani culture.

Age limit (as on 01.07.2022) -

• Minimum Age - 21 years
• Maximum Age - 40 years

Age Relaxation:

• Male Candidates belonging to the SC, ST, OBC, and More Backward Classes of Rajasthan State: 5 Years
• Women Candidates belonging to General Category and Rajasthan State’s Economically Weaker Sections (E.W.S.): 10 Years
• Women Candidates belonging to the SC, ST, OBC, and More Backward Classes of Rajasthan State: 5 Years
• There is no upper age limit for widowed and divorced women.

Scheme and syllabus of competitive examination for the post Lecturer (School)

1. The competitive examination shall carry 450 marks.

2. There will be two papers. Paper-I shall be 150 marks and Paper-II shall be 300 marks. The duration of Paper-I shall be one and a half hours and the duration of Paper-II shall be three hours.

3. All the questions in both the Papers shall be multiple choice type questions.

4. Negative marking shall be applicable in the evaluation of answers. For every wrong answer, one-third of the marks prescribed for that particular question can be deducted.

Explanation: The wrong answer shall mean an incorrect answer or multiple answers.

5. Subjects included in both the Papers and the marks given to them are shown in the tables below.
