SBI CBO Recruitment 2022 - Notification Out for 1422 Vacancies

Here is the latest recruitment announcement by the State Bank of India. Recently, SBI bank has released an SBI CBO Recruitment 2022 notification to recruit 1422 Circle Based Officers (CBO) in different offices of SBI across India.

Out of the vacant posts, there are 1400 regular vacancies and 22 backlog vacancies. The selection of the candidates will be done based on an online written exam, screening, and interview.

SBI CBO Notification 2022 - 1422 Vacancies

Applications are invited from eligible Indian Citizens for appointment as Circle Based Officer in the State Bank of India. The selected candidates shall be posted in the applied Circle only.

• The process of Registration is complete only when the fee is deposited with the Bank through Online mode on or before the last date for payment of a fee.
• Candidates are advised to check Bank's website https://bank.sbi/careers regularly for details and updates. No separate intimation will be issued in case of any change/ update.

SBI CBO Eligibility:

Academic Qualification -

Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.

Experience -

Minimum 2 years experience as an officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or any Regional Rural Bank.

Local Language -

The candidates applying for vacancies of a particular State should be proficient (reading, writing, and understanding) in the specified opted local language of that State (mentioned against each State). The local language test is a part of the selection process.

Age Limit (as of 30.09.2022) -

• Minimum Age: 21 years
• Maximum Age: 30 years

Pay Scale -

Selected candidates Rs 36,000 to 63840 Will be received as a monthly salary. Officials will also be eligible for DA, HRA, Lease Rental, CCA, Medical, and other allowances as per the rules.

Selection Process:

Candidates will be selected on the following basis -

• Online written exam
• Screening and Interview

Written Exam Pattern -

Online written tests will consist of Objective Tests for 120 marks and Descriptive Tests for 50 marks.

(i) Objective Test: The duration of the objective test is 2 hours and it consists of 4 Sections of a total of 120 marks. There will be separate timing for every section.

• There will be no penalty for wrong answers marked in Objective Tests.
• Sectional Marks will not be maintained for Online Written Examination

(ii) Descriptive Test: The duration of the Descriptive Test is 30 minutes. It will be a Test of the English Language (Letter Writing & Essay) with two questions for a total of 50 marks.
