SBI PO Notification 2021-22: Recruitment on 2056 PO Vacancies!!

Hello Candidates,

After SBI SCO Recruitment 2021, State Bank of India (SBI) has released a new notification for the PO post on its official website. Let us know that this year SBI has announced more than 2000 vacancies as compared to 2020.

Therefore, candidates who were waiting for SBI PO Recruitment 2021 for a long time can now apply online.

2056 SBI PO Notification 2021-22

Applications are invited from eligible and interested Indian citizens for appointment as Probationary Officers (PO) in State Bank of India. Also, the selected candidates may be posted anywhere in India. Eligible candidates are required to register on-line for the recruitment process which will be held in three phases viz. (i) Phase-I; (ii) Phase-II; and (iii) Phase-III. Candidates who are shortlisted after Phase-I will have to appear for Phase-II. Candidates who are shortlisted after Phase-II will be subsequently called for Phase-III.

Required Eligibility Criteria for SBI PO 2021

Before applying, candidates are requested to ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria for the post as of the date of eligibility. SBI PO 2021 related parameters are given below:

Age Limit (as on 01.04.2021)

• Minimum Age: 21 years
• Maximum Age: 30 years

Age Relaxation:

SBI has given the following relaxation in upper age limit for the categories:

Pay Scale -

• Presently, the starting basic pay is 41,960/- (with 4 advance increments) in the scale of 36000-1490/7-46430-1740/2-49910-1990/7-63840 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale-I. 
• The official will also be eligible for D.A, H.R.A/ Lease rental, C.C.A, Medical and other allowances & perquisites as per rules in force from time to time.

Selection Process:

Candidates will be selected in 3 phases: -

• Preliminary exam
• Main exam
• Interview and Group Exercise 

Phase-I: Preliminary exam -

Preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Test for 100 marks will be conducted online. The test will have of 3 Sections (with separate timings for each section) as follows:

Phase-II: Main exam -

(i) Objective Test - The duration of objective test is 3 hours and it consists of 4 Sections of total 200 marks. There will be separate timing for every section.

(ii) Descriptive Test - The duration of Descriptive Test is 30 minutes. It will be a Test of English Language (Letter Writing & Essay) with two questions for total 50 marks.

Phase-III: Interview and Group Exercise -

 In view of the Social Distancing and safety measures necessitated due to COVID-19 pandemic, the 3 rd Phase may comprise of (i) Interview only (50 marks) OR (ii) Interview (30 marks) & Group Exercises (20 marks). 

Candidates will have to score minimum qualifying marks in Phase-III to be considered for final selection. The minimum qualifying marks will be decided by the Bank.
