The State Bank of India has recently uploaded the official SBI PO notification PDF on its official website on 21st September 2022. The online registration window will be opened for SBI PO 2022  on 22nd September 2022. 

Candidates who have done their graduation can apply for SBI PO Recruitment 2022 till 12th October 2022 either by visiting the official website of SBI or from the apply online link given in this blog.

SBI PO Notification 2022 Overview 

Applications are invited from eligible and interested Indian citizens for appointment as Probationary Officers (PO) by State Bank of India every year. But through the SBI PO 2022, SBI has released less vacancies than last year. Candidates will be appointed for a total of 1678 posts.

SBI PO Vacancy 2022

Before applying, candidates are requested to ensure that they fulfill the SBI PO eligibility for the post of Probationary Officers. SBI PO 2022 related parameters are given below:

Educational Qualification -

The candidate must be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. 

Age Limit (as on 01.04.2022) -

• Minimum Age: 21 years
• Maximum Age: 30 years

Age Relaxation -

SBI PO Salary -

• Presently, the starting basic pay is 41,960/- (with 4 advance increments) in the scale of 36000-1490/7-46430-1740/2-49910-1990/7-63840 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale-I. 
• The official will also be eligible for D.A, H.R.A/ Lease rental, C.C.A, Medical and other allowances & perquisites as per rules in force from time to time.

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected in 3 phases: -

• Preliminary exam
• Main exam
• Interview and Group Exercise 

Phase-I: Preliminary exam -

Preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Test for 100 marks will be conducted online. The test will have of 3 Sections (with separate timings for each section) as follows:

Phase-II: Main exam -

(i) Objective Test - The duration of objective test is 3 hours and it consists of 4 Sections of total 200 marks. There will be separate timing for every section.

(ii) Descriptive Test - The duration of Descriptive Test is 30 minutes. It will be a Test of English Language (Letter Writing & Essay) with two questions for total 50 marks.

Phase-III: Interview and Group Exercise -

 In view of the Social Distancing and safety measures necessitated due to COVID-19 pandemic, the 3 rd Phase may comprise of (i) Interview only (50 marks) OR (ii) Interview (30 marks) & Group Exercises (20 marks). 

Candidates will have to score minimum qualifying marks in Phase-III to be considered for final selection. The minimum qualifying marks will be decided by the Bank.
