SSC GD Recruitment 2021 – Notification Released for 25271 Constable Vacancies!!

Dear Candidates,

10th pass male and female candidates have got a golden opportunity to get jobs on several thousand posts in the police department. Actually, this year Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released a huge recruitment for the posts of Constable (General Duty) in various police organizations on a total of 25271 vacancies.

Eligible and interested candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of the commission, ssc.nic.in., for which the application process has started.

25271 SSC GD Open Competitive Exam 2021

SSC has conducted an open competitive examination for constables as per the recruitment scheme prepared by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) in Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), National Investigation Agency (NIA), Secretariat Security force (SSF) and Assam Rifles.

• Vacancies of Constable (GD) in SSF will be filled on All India basis whereas vacancies in all other CAPFs will be filled as per the vacancies available in various States/ UTs. In addition, vacancies are earmarked for the Border Guarding Districts and Militancy/ Naxal affected Districts which are reserved for the candidates of these districts only.

• Last Date for Online Fee Payment: 02-09-2021 (23:30)
• Last Date for Generation of Offline Challan: 04-09-2021 (23:30)

SSC GD Vacancy Details & Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who don't fulfill all the conditions of SSC Constable Eligibility Criteria will be disqualified by the commission. So candidates are required to confirm their eligibility criteria before applying for the GD Recruitment Exam.

Nationality -

Candidate must be a citizen of India.

Educational Qualification -

Candidates should have passed Matriculation or 10th from a recognized Board/University.

Age Limit (as on 01-08-2021) -

• Minimum Age - 18 Years
• Maximum Age – 23 Years

Age Relaxation -

• SC/ST – 5 Years
• OBC – 3 years
• Ex-Servicemen (UR/EWS) – 3 Years
• Children and dependent of victims killed in the 1984 riots or communal riots of 2002 in Gujarat – 5 (UR), 8 (OBC), 10 (SC/ST) years

Pay Scale -

Pay Level-3 (Rs 21700-69100).

Selection Process:

The selection is done on the basis of:-

• Computer Based Test (CBT)
• Physical Efficiency Test (PET) / Physical Standard Test (PST)
• Medical examination

CBT Exam Pattern -

Important point -

• The question paper will be of matriculation level.
• All the 100 questions in the Computer Based Test will be of Objective Multiple Choice and 100 Marks.
• There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
• The CBT exam will be conducted in English and Hindi only.
