SSC Junior Engineer Recruitment 2020
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will hold an open competitive examination for the recruitment of Group ‘B’ Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Quantity Surveying & Contracts) posts for various Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations in the Government of India.
The commission has uploaded a detailed notification announcing the beginning of the SSC JE Recruitment Process.

Selection Process:
Candidates will have to qualify the following exams in order to reach the last stage of document verification-
- Paper-I (Computer-Based Test)
- Paper-II (Conventional Paper)
Application Fee:
Candidates are required to pay the minimum standard amount of application fee as mentioned in the official notification. In the below-provided data, we have cited the category-wise application fee –
- For General/OBC Candidates: Rs. 100/-
- For SC/ ST/ PWD/ Ex-Servicemen & Women Candidates: Nil
The application fee can be paid via online payment modes as well as in cash at SBI branches using the SBI challan. Without depositing the fee, the application form of the candidate will be canceled.
How to Apply?
If you find it difficult to apply online for the vacancies, then just follow the steps given below -
- Visit the official website of SSC, i.e. https://ssc.nic.in.
- Now, go to the ‘Apply’ icon available on the homepage.
- You need to select the ‘JE’ exam.
- Click on the Apply link provided beside Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Quantity Surveying & Contracts) Examination.
- Log in to the website with your registration id and password. If you are a new user, you need to register yourself first.
- Fill up the registration form and you will be provided with your login credentials.
- Now, enter those credentials and log in to the website.
- Fill up the application form with appropriate details.
- You need to upload your scanned signature and photograph along with other required documents.
- Submit the details and move ahead to the payment step.
- Pay the application fee via any of the prescribed methods.
- Preview the form and keep a copy of the form and fee receipt for future reference.
- Submit the application form.
