The Staff Selection Commission has started the online application for candidates interested in the SSC JHT Recruitment 2023. SSC is hiring to fill 307 vacancies for Junior Hindi Translator (Subordinate Office), Junior Translation Officer (Subordinate Office ), Junior Translator, Junior Translation Officer, and Senior Translator posts in various government offices of India.

SSC JHT Selection Process

Candidates for the available vacancies will be selected through an open competitive examination. All the applicants will have to attend the two-stage examination -

  • Paper-1 (Computer-Based Test)
  • Paper-2 (Translation and Essay)

Candidates must appear for Paper 1 and get qualified for the next stage i.e. Paper 2 examination. Those qualifying paper 2 will be called for document verification and appointment based on merit.

Important Points -

  • Paper-I will consist of Objective Type Multiple choice questions only.
  • There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-I.
  • Paper-1 and Paper-2 have an examination time duration of 2 hours 40 minutes for candidates with visually handicapped (VH) and orthopedically handicapped (OH) category.
